Hi, I'm Randy—a lifelong hockey dad, former coach, and tech director who's spent more hours in ice rinks and on the road than I can count. After years of hauling gear, juggling schedules, booking hotels, and hunting down nearby gas stations (usually with a coffee in one hand and Google Maps in the other), I realized something was missing: a single place for hockey parents to plan their trips.
That's why I created RinkRoute—a one-stop guide for everything you need when your kid's team hits the road. From rink info and directions, to hotels, EV chargers, travel tips, and even parent-submitted reviews (coming soon)—you'll find it all here.
RinkRoute was born from those road trips, hotel stays, gas station pit stops — and the love for the game.
This site features one of the largest collections of rink information in North America, and this is only the beginning of what I envision for the platform.
A few things to know
- We are currently in beta, which means we are still testing, learning, and improving — and your feedback is incredibly valuable.
- Rink amenities and details may not always be accurate, since all data was collected from public websites. If something looks off, we would love to know. Feel free to shoot us an email at admin@rinkroute.com.
